19th Feb
BSPS 15a
We took Alex and Admiral to patchetts today, despite it being very cold both boy's behaved very well. Admiral came 3rd in the ridden connemara/new forest class and Alex won and came reserve champion in the ridden highland/fell/dales class.

Bell's (Blaidd Rosabelle) first time being sat on by Lisa. She has been a really good girl.

NPS AREA 7
We had a great start to the season, Admiral did his first proper novice ridden class and after running out of steam in his show still managed to come 4th out of a large class, he was an angel all day.
Alex jumped an excellent round in the workers and won his class. Really pleased with both boy's.

29th November
Lily and Ace have been having lot's of fun together jumping and hunting!
12th November
SEWPCA Show
Admiral went to his first ridden show and came 2nd in the 3 year old just broken class!! He behaved amazingly we were so proud.
6th November
BSPS AREA 6
We took Alex to do the workers and he jumped a fab round and managed to win it and get reserve Champion, we were thrilled to bit's.
16th October
Hunter trial
We took Frank for his first ever jumping experience, he was a star and absolutely loved it.
3rd September
Moreton in Marsh show
We took frank again to do the HOYS ridden, he behaved brilliantly again and got another 6th place out of a very large class!
25th August
Monmouthshire show
Frank did the HOYS Ridden class, he behaved very well and came 6th out of a large class. We were really pleased with him.
14th August
National Welsh Show
We took Frank out to his first show of the season and did the HOYS ridden, he got a little excited on the go round with the others but did a lovely show, we didn't come away with a rosette as there were 3 of us on equal marks for 5th place.
3rd-6th August
NPS Summer champs, Malvern
We had a lovely relaxing time, Admiral had his first stay away and behaved amazingly then managed to win the 2-3 year old connemara/new forest class and came champion over all M & M breeds including Adults, he also came 2nd in his 2-3 year old connemara class. So we were chuffed to pieces with him. Ace also went but had a stop in his workers. A massive Thank You to Nick Snelling for showing Admiral for us through the season and doing such a great job.

We had a great day Admiral came 2nd in the connemara youngstock inhand.

Admiral did the 2/3 year old connemara class and came 2nd in a very strong class.

British Connemara Society Show
We took Admiral to his 2nd outing of the weekend, he did the 3 year old colt class and came 4th.

Peggy finally had her baby today, 2 weeks late! She's had a gorgeous chestnut colt, sired by Keeshen Renegade.

********* WE HAVE FINALLY MOVED ***************
We're really really excited to have finally moved into Woodside Equestrian Centre, it comes with 42 stables, 50 Acres, Indoor & Outdoor school, xc course and Hacking direct on to the forest. Looking forward to enjoying many happy years there.

South Of England Show
We had a great couple of day's, Admiral Won the 2/3 year old connemara Inhand and then came Reserve Champion. Romeo came 6th out of a very large HOYS Ridden class, we were very pleased with him as it was his first time at a county show. Ace managed to go clear and come 5th in the HOYS workers, also being a very large class with 16 clears! So chuffed to pieces with him to.

Big Molly had her first baby today, 3 weeks early!! He's a little bay colt. She's a very lovely proud new mum.

NPS Area XI
Romeo came 3rd in the NPS Open M & M Ridden Grand Prix.
7th May
Ponies UK South
Admiral won the Glyn Greenwood M & M youngstock Inhand and came Reserve Reserve Champion and Romeo came 3rd in the Kingsford confined novice class. Both boys behaved wonderfully especially as it was pouring with rain.
2nd May
BSPS AREA 8
We just took Ace to do the workers, he jumped 2 great clear rounds and came 2nd and 4th.

We finally have our Buck baby BOY!! He's bay out of Rhoswen Rhian, sired by Glynwyn Buckaroo : )

Our first baby arrived today, a bay filly out of Blaidd Rosabelle, sired by Glynwyn Buckaroo.
NPS Spring Festival 16th April
We had a really lovely day Romeo came 4th in a very large C & D novice final class and Ace jumped a fab round in his workers but unfortunately had one down.
NPS Wessex Show 10th April
We took Admiral to his first indoor show and he Won the connemara/new forest 2 & 3 year old class with Nick. We were really pleased with how he behaved.
Admirals Grading 6th April
Very proud day Admiral passed his grading today.

SCWPCA Spring Show 3rd April
Had a really lovely day, Romeo was a little star and WON his first ever picton ridden class & intermediate ridden, he went & behaved beautifully until we did the championship, when he decided he didn't like the horse & carts in the ring next door so got very excited and we lacked in the breaks department!! But still managed to be placed reserve champion so we were chuffed to pieces with him.
BSPS AREA 14 12th March
Really pleased with both boy's today, Ace jumped a lovely clear round in the bsps open whp and came 3rd and Romeo behaved wonderfully again but seemed to run out of steam in his class and came 5th.
BSPS AREA 11 26th February
We had a great day, Romeo Won the pure novice ridden and came Reserve Champion and Ace came 3rd in the BSPS M & M workers, which we were thrilled with as he hadn't been out jumping since august 2010!!
NPS Area 20 Show 12th February
Romeo was 1st in the pure novice ridden in a very large class and came reserve champion. We were very proud of him.

We took Romeo to his 2nd show, he was a very good boy again and came 3rd in the pure novice ridden, we were very pleased with him.
Home Counties Show 30th January 2011
We took Maesllwch Lone Ranger (AKA Romeo) to his first show today, he behaved amazingly and WON the novice ridden.

The College EC Show
After purchasing Castle Admiral a 2 year old colt from Henry O Toole at the Castle stud back in march we finally took him to his first show today where he did the mountain and moorland 1,2 & 3 year old class and won! He was an absolute star and behaved wonderfully. We also took Frank and did the ridden C & D and he came 2nd. Really pleased with both boy's.

Frank won the bsps heritage open and came 2nd in the Snuggy Hoods open ridden. We were really pleased with him.

After a very long day and finally coming out of the ring at 8pm Frank did the HOYS ridden and came 9th out of a huge class.

After having a bit of a bucking fit in the intermediate ridden Frank managed to behave himself in the open ridden and came 2nd.

NPS Summer Champs
We had a fantastic week Ace came 6th in the workers, Robin had his first stay away from home behaved very well and came 2nd in his inhand class and Frank was an absolute star and managed to WIN the welsh D picton final!!! So chuffed, we were very proud. Many Thanks to Ollie Burchell for all his help and doing such a great job.

Lavant Horse Show
We took 2 broodmares and their babies out for the first time ever. They all behaved brilliantly. Rhoswen Rhian came 2nd and Blaidd Rosabelle came 3rd.

Frank came 2nd in his 2nd ever HOY'S Ridden class. We're chuffed to pieces with him.

Ace came 4th in the Olympia ridden and 1st and champion in the Intermediate workers, and Buck and Fern came 3rd in the welsh C and D inhand, it was their first time in the ring together, can't wait to see them doing the Olympia qualifiers for the veteran classes!!

NPS Spring Festival Show
Both boy's were really good, Ace came 3rd and 4th by jumping 2 lovely clears in both his workers classes, the jumps were really interesting and he didn't even mind jumping the jump on the bank! Frank was a good boy too he came 2nd in the nps m & m pure novice ridden final.
